What this site knows about you, in plain English.
Short version: this site runs without cookies or ad trackers, and nothing you give us gets sold or passed around. We collect the minimum a working website needs, we keep it to ourselves, and this page lists all of it. Last updated 16 August 2026.
The controller
cooltake.ai is run by Brunon Rogowski, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Anything on this page, or anything about your data at all, goes to hi@cooltake.ai and gets answered by a person.
Page views, without cookies
We run our own small counter, first party, on our own server. When a page loads it records the time, the page, the referring site, your screen width and your browser's user-agent string. The list ends there. It works without cookies or fingerprinting, never stores your IP address, and reports to no analytics company because there isn't one involved.
If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, the counter doesn't fire at all.
When you give us your email
If you request the guide or use a form on this site, we store what you typed: your email address, when you sent it, which page it came from, and the IP address the request arrived from (a standard abuse guard). It sits in a private file on our server, outside the public web folder, and a copy lands in our inbox so we can reply.
We use it to send you the thing you asked for and to reply. No mailing list you didn't ask for, no passing it on, ever. Want it deleted? One email to hi@cooltake.ai and it's gone.
The three outside services this site touches
Fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers when a page loads, which shows Google your IP address the way any web request does. The booking page embeds our scheduling provider, cal.eu, which handles the times and details you enter there under its own privacy terms. And our TikTok account (@cooltake.ai) is managed with TikTok's official developer tools, which touch our own videos and our own account, not your data. The list is complete; nothing else on this site phones out.
Under UK GDPR
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it or delete it, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you think we've handled it badly. Given the lists above, what we hold is usually one line in a file, so these requests tend to be quick. Email hi@cooltake.ai.
Ask us anything about your data.
